I’m not gonna sit around and waste my precious divine energy trying to explain and be ashamed of things you think are wrong with me.” Esperanza Spalding
Good morning and thank you for joining us At the Table. We are enjoying our cup of JOE this morning and happily agree that :
“What other people think about me, is none of my business’ .Wayne Dyer
We realize that it is truly a waste of our energy and it also is their perception, which has nothing at all to do with us.
At the Table, we are happily sharing our day talking about how we can stay out of other people’s stories about us! I had a wonderful conversation this last weekend with a grand friend, who shared with me her story about me, she said “ I love you so much, you are so wonderful to be with, and I cannot imagine anyone not loving you”. What a joy she brought to my heart! I am so honored to have this friend and her love in my life. I truly love this friend; she is such a beautiful truthful soul, and a real hoot to share this path with! As we talked we both shared how we have come to understand that not all people see us the same way, and how our energy patterns do not compliment all people and also, how their energy does not compliment us. We also shared how this is such a blessing. In our past, we would ask that old question of “why don’t they like me”? And, “What did I do wrong”? This is a basic lesson of ITS NOT ABOUT ME! It truly is their perception.
At the Table, we bring the menu to everyone. You have your own choices what to pick off the menu. Everyone has different taste buds. We do not judge your choices, nor do your choices affect us. We are just so happy to provide a menu of comfort foods for your soul. You take what you need here. We are so grateful to share!
To be in the company of strangers, you become so aware of how each person “sees” you. But the true lesson in a room of strangers is how you see yourself. Your presence, changes the energy. Your words and actions create your experience within that room. If you do not focus upon how others see you, you will always be in that room as your authentic self. And by doing this, the people that are meant to connect with you, will connect with you. If you start shaping yourself to fit into the room, you will lose the opportunity to see truth and be in truth.
At the Table, we are advocates of truth. It can look ugly to some people, it can be hard, and challenging to some, AND BEAUTIFUL TO OTHERS, but truth is truth and takes no explaining. Therefore, when you stay in your own truth of your own skin, the wrong energy will not attach. It will not be welcomed, then you will have nothing to release from that experience, AND you are keeping yourself focused only upon your own perception of yourself.
Yes, we know there are those that see themselves as bad, lacking, miserable, unworthy and so on. This does not mean you must see them like that. You need not play that game with them. You see who you want to see. Just as it is none of our business what others think of us, it’s none of their business what we think of them, BE IN YOUR TRUTH, always.
At the Table, we are so happy to have good friends, companions on this journey that will support us and will comfort our hearts. We also are grateful for those that do not, because it shows us our truths, and gives us the opportunities to walk our talk in truth and honoring the experience we create in this truth. We are happy to know who to release from our path, and happy to see their truth.
Staying in your own story, will give the energy freedom to flow where it needs to. You can easily see other people shifting to “fit” into a part of the experience in a room full of strangers. First of all, you and only you have all the information for your situation. For example, if you are the person that walks into the meeting late, and most of the people look at you in a disturbing manner, it is because they think they know your situation, you are late and you are now seen this way. But if they knew your situation that you are late because the boss asked you to come to thier office first so they could give you the award you are presenting to one of those people that looked at you in a disturbing manner, then there would be a different look that they would wear. You see, the look they wear is their own perception, and if you do not buy into it, and get wrapped up in it, you will always honor your truth. And the people that walk and talk their truth, and do not make it their business to know your situation, are the true friends in your life. They are the ones that honor you just as you are and it’s because they honor themselves just as they are. No need to “become” something. There is no judgment or expectations. There are no limiting factors or conditions around being in their presence. In the past, it was so important for everyone to like us. We felt so neglected if everyone did not like us. We are all so happy that phase of our journey is behind us. That’s just too many faces to wear. We love the face of truth that we wear today. It needs no make-up, no editing for close-up Kodak moments. The people we are supposed to be conscious of, is ourselves. Everyone else will create the story for their own experiences. If we want to be a part of their experience, that is your choice. If we do not, that is your choice too. If you are “judged” by that, there is the truth of that person. So bottom line, its none of your business what others think of you and it surely is none of their business what we think of them. The energy is best served elsewhere, and we can call this lesson completed! When you are in the company of like-minded connected souls, you know it. There is no struggle, no angst, and no hurt feelings. How can there be?
At the Table today our plates are full of love for ourselves. We are happy with the story that fills our plates and we can gladly eat our own words! They are words of truth, and they are served 24 hours a day! Thank you for joining us today At the Table, and as always, we are grateful to share what is On my Plate!
